The winter cold has inspired this warm-spiced kraut. White cabbage, carrot, red onion, garlic, ginger & the following spices: coriander, cumin, black pepper & black mustard.
Fermented over a week, we check on it daily and nurture it as needed. Thanks to this fermentation, our Winterkraut is packed with naturally occurring probiotics. They are said to contribute to our gut flora, just like a good compost contributes to the soil. It is all about the terrain, as this will determine what grows.

Enjoy our Winterkraut as condiment on the side of any dish you may be having for lunch or dinner. You can also add to sandwiches & salads. It adds a caper-like zing and can be a great alternative to olives or pickles.
