Micro-greens are young vegetables and herbs that are approximately 3-7cm tall. They have an aromatic flavour and concentrated nutrient content. They come in a variety of colours & textures. What they lack in size they gain in nutrients often containing higher nutrient levels than mature vegetables. While their nutrient content varies, most varieties tend to be rich in potassium, iron, zinc, magnesium and vitamins A and C.

We cannot claim this is an organic product as it is not certified, but we can say that it is grown naturally and without pesticides.

Here we give you a brief introduction to the varieties we are offering at the moment:

Purple Kohlrabi

My little minions. The soldiers of the micro force.

Bold green leaves with a purple tinge. Yes!! And they taste good.

Pumped with Vitamin K, Vitamin C, beta-carotene, lutein, violaxanthin these micros could take over the world.

They help with blood circulation, skin health, heart disease and eye health.

This ones a hit and miss with kids so beware.

Teenie Broccolini.

Get all the health benefits of broccoli without having to eat it!

The broccoli micros have a mild broccoli taste with a bit of a bitter aftertaste.

The bitterness comes from the compound Sulforaphane that pretty much turns you into a superhero. They also help to improve digestion, increase bone health and help to prevent lung and colon cancer.

Rambo Radish.

Well the name says it all. These little puppies are packing a punch. Loaded with Vitamin C/A/K and E and Beta-Carotene. Not only will they make you see in the dark but may also reduce the risk of heart related disease (even heartbreak).

Radishes have a mild, pleasantly spicy flavour.

Kids don't love em but it's worth seeing their faces when you feed them some.

Sunflower micros.

These bad boys are pumping with nutrients. Protein, Calcium, Iron and Vitamins A/B/K/D (I didn't even know there was a K). Healthy for the heart, lowers blood cholesterol and increases bone and teeth health.

With their nutty but slightly sweet flavour you can chuck them in pretty much any salad.

Believe it or not kids love them too.

Coriander/Cilantro.

Coriander contains vitamins A, B, C, E, and K, beta-carotene, calcium, iron, potassium, zinc, and phosphorus.
Research shows Coriander microgreens are richest in terms of lutein and beta-carotene which are extremely important for skin and eye health
Some of the amazing health benefits of cilantro are:
• Safely eliminates heavy metals from the body
• Powerful antioxidant that reduces free radicals, which aids in cancer prevention
• Reduces anxiety and improves sleep (yes please!)
• Detox aid

A handful a day is a good way start to reap the benefits of this small but mighty micro-herb!!

Pea Shoots.

Sweet pea of mine. Not only do they look great on any plate but they taste amazing. They are sweet and nutty and make a great addition to salads and stir-fry.
High in Vitamin A and C, protein, fibre and folate.
Munching on these curly fellas will boost your immune system, help to control your blood sugar and also give you laser eyes.
