What is fermented hot sauce?
Fermented hot sauce is a spicy, slightly acidic sauce made by fermenting hot chilis and other ingredients together in a jar or crock. Over time, flavour deepenS, growing more and more complex and more acidic as beneficial bacteria go to work.
Meet the Hot Sauces:
Blazin Buffalo * 100 ml - Not so hot
Ingredients: cayenne peppers, white onions, fresh garlic, white vinegar, pink salt , and black pepper.
Our Blazin Buffalo is a staple that has been around for over 50 years! Buffalo sauce was originally invented, yup you guessed it, in buffalo. A bar which is there till this day created this sauce that was a great pairing for their crispy fried wings. Buffalo Wings are a world renowned dish, and today you can also find veggie wings made from cauliflower. Both go amazingly well with a cold beer, so enjoy!
Og Sauce ** 100ml - Kinda hot
Ingredients: red serrano peppers, red onion, fresh dill, lemon juice , garlic powder, apple cider vinegar, sea salt, black pepper.
Our Og sauce! Which stands for original. One of those sauces you can basically put on everything. Earthy smell of dill with a spicy kick. Great pairing for tacos or even a chilli. Mix this sauce with some chopped tomatoes, cilantro, red onion, fresh lime juice and you have yourself a beautiful fresh juicy salsa. You can literally put this stuff on everything!!
Tropical Heat *** 100ml - Mad hot
Ingredients: Carolina reaper peppers, red chillies, pineapple, white onion, carrot , white wine vinegar, cinnamon, orange juice, pink salt, pepper.
One of our hotter sauces. Carolina reaper is one of the hottest peppers in the world. With a packing 2.2 million Scoville scale. The pineapple and cinnamon has a amazing after taste and gives it that slow creeping effect. This sauce is a good additive to a vindaloo curry. Instead of adding fresh chillies you can add a couple tsp of our sauce and give it that wonderful hot but flavourful taste of pineapple and heat. Also a great sauce to add to anything you want!!
