Ghee is clarified butter in simple terms. In the process of clarification most, if not all, of the lactose is removed, leaving only the healthy fats of the butter.
Made with grass-fed butter.

Ghee originates in Ancient India and is used in cooking & Traditional Ayurvedic Medicine. It is said to have many healing properties, and is a healthier alternative to regular butter.

Removing the lactose also gives ghee an exceptionally high smoke point, meaning you can cook with it at high temperatures with no worry about burning it.

How to use: It has a soft taste & a creamy spreadable consistency. You can add it to hot drinks, use it in pastry preparations or in savoury recipes. Pan-fry veggies or sear your favourite meat. Perfect to dissolve into soups and risottos.

Vegetarian, gluten free & keto friendly.

Format/size: each jar contains 250g of ghee.

Storage/Best Before Guidelines: You can store ghee in the cupboard; it acts similar to coconut oil: it’s solid in cold weather and liquid in warmer weather. Once opened, consume within 6 months for peak quality, although it will be fine to eat for up to a year. Storing in the fridge will extend it's freshness and quality for longer.
