Kombucha is a fermented, practically non-alcoholic(0.4%), lightly fizzy, sweetened black tea drink commonly consumed for its supposed health benefits. It is a refreshing and healthy alternative to soft drinks and alcohol. Perfect cold out the fridge in the summer! Expect a milder & less fizzy kombucha in the winter due to the colder climate.

We recommend leaving in the fridge at least 12h before drinking for best results.

Our kombucha is alive, so if you leave outside the fridge it will continue to ferment. Keep in the fridge. It can keep in the fridge for 1-3 months. If you decide to keep it longer than a week, just make sure you burp the bottle each week to prevent the build up of pressure from ongoing fermentation (especially in the summer). The flavour of the kombucha will evolve and age, similar to a good wine.

WARNING!! DO NOT leave outside the fridge, as it will either over-ferment and become too fizzy, meaning that when you open it, you will lose half the bottle, or you risk it exploding in your cupboard, if left long enough unattended. Keep in the fridge please :)

We suggest opening near the sink just in case it is extra fizzy! Our alive kombucha is quite unpredictable(especially in the summer), and each batch is unique, which also makes it special. We also recommend filtering the kombucha with a small sieve as your serve in order to remove the pieces of fruit or spices used to flavour. Some of the fruit can be eaten & enjoyed, whilst the spices are best thrown away.

We are quite experimental, so we often have new weekly flavours! Keep an eye out ;)

This product comes in a 70cl recycled bottle, and we encourage you to keep the cycle going by returning the bottle clean on your next delivery. Thank you :)

This product contains caffeine & residues of cane sugar. Most of the sugar has been consumed by the scoby during the fermentation process. Our kombucha also contains a trace amount of alcohol due to the fermentation = 0.4%.
